About Us

A California native living in NYC for about a decade, I have taken on a broad array of responsibilities in the creative fields of marketing, including art direction, digital direction, experiential ideation and execution, photography, animation, and more,  with a specialization in creative management. My time spent in the NYC arts scene has made me familiar with a broad array of creative geniuses, many of whom I have had the privilege of bringing on to professional projects, leading them to success in the world of creative marketing with brands like Diesel, H&M, Tumblr, and Uniqlo. My experience of working since I was 15 as a freelance photographer has given me a well of insight into best practices,  industry and consumer habits, and a how to best operate as a team leader. Working as a hands on creative has taught me how I am best managed, and in turn  given me insight into how to best manage creatives. I grew up extremely cynical of advertising, I wanted better for my generation, so I made the decision to make it better. I strongly believe that consumers deserve branded experiences, content, and advertising that is smart, engaging, and beautiful.

My Services

Art Direction

If the creative process can be compared to a kitchen, my experience in peeling and cooking the potatoes dovetailed perfectly into my ability to taste them and know if they need a bit of salt. Raised by artists, creativity is in my blood. Instead of cartoons and toys, I was raised making weekly pilgrimages to museums and art galleries. Through all of this, I have been given a keen eye for design, taste, history, and successful creative intuition.

Photography

I have been working as a professional photographer for over a decade. In that time I have worked editorially for such esteemed publications as The New York Times, WIRED, W Magazine, New York Magazine, and more. In edition to my editorial work, I have shot commercial fashion work for SSENSE, Yves Delorme,  and more. My fine art work has been showcased in galleries and museums around the globe.

Team management

As a highly social person with a rolodex of creative masterminds, I have the ability to put together dynamic teams and lead them to success, no matter the challenge. Having used task management software throughout my own career as a creative, I am well versed in the logistics of time and team management. Through my experience leading the creative teams at Two Hustlers through experimental and traditional Digital, Print, OOH, and experiential, I have successfully navigated through a broad array of challenges.

Diesel - #DIESELREBOOT

Two Hustlers responded to an RFP by Diesel that asked the question, how to we reboot this brand? Our team worked tirelessly, putting together an art-book filled with reference, strategy, experimental OOH action plans, original artwork, and more. Our plan? Place legendary stylist Nicola Formichetti as the artistic director of the brand, and reboot the brand as a fearless, art-obsessed retailer that put the empowered creatives world wide. The campaign was launched with a denim focused 'guerilla campaign' in which Formichetti styled raw denim onto an array of diverse models. This was followed up by a UGC OOH campaign, fueled by a Tumblr page that put out periodic requests to creatives such as "Create something, By destroying Something". Selected artworks were displayed around the world, with events as rouge as projecting onto the Colosseum in Rome, to wrapping 6 foot balloons that we placed in NYC's Union Square, culminating in a store-wide exhibition of the UGC work in the legendary Galleries Lafayette in Paris. This was the most engaged with branded Tumblr page in existence, generating more than TK# impressions, and receiving over TK# original artwork submissions.
